Think the Star Wars prequels aren't that bad? Mark Hamill agrees with you

For every Darth Maul battle, the Star Wars prequels had (roughly) a billion things not to like about it: Jar Jar, terrible CGI, killing younglings but Mark Hamill, possibly The Last Jedi, is here to (kinda) defend the Star Wars prequels.

Speaking to Vulture, Luke Skywalker himself wanted to set the record straight on the OTT criticism that Episodes 1 through 3 have received over the years: “I couldn’t believe some of the things they wrote about the prequels, you know. I mean, really, beyond ‘I didn’t like it.’”

Hamill isn’t outright in the corner of the prequels but he has some strong words for the backlash that Jake Lloyd – young Anakin – went well beyond The Phantom Menace’s original 1999 release, stating, “I’m still angry about the way they treated Jake Lloyd. He was only ten years old… he did exactly what George [Lucas] wanted him to do,” before getting in a possible shot at George Lucas himself, “Believe me, I understand clunky dialogue.”

Beware keyboard warriors, hell hath no fury like a Skywalker scorned…
