There are fans out there that go the extra mile for games and we love them for it. Without their declarations of love for our favourite pastime we might just think the ‘ban this sick filth’ school of thinking was winning the fight, just by shouting louder. But the extreme fans are out there, fighting the fight for gamers everywhere.
These are the game fans that are proud to stand up for their passion; to declare their love to the world. These fans mark their wallets, their reputations – even their bodies – to show the world how they feel. These are the Exteme Gamers.

The hoarder
Extreme shenanigans
Plenty of gamers collect games. But we’re not talking about the casual – almost accidental – collector. There are people out there who erect whole buildings to house their Atari collections. Just take a look at the picture above. This guy has been collecting for over 16 years and has over 10,000 games. He’s even managed to make a full-time job out of it. Now that’s dedication!
Long-term damage?
This kind of hobby could get you into trouble if you get carried away with your spending. Not to mention the risk of permanently pissing off your friends and family by spending your Christmas present fund on an obscure 20-year-old Japanese RPG.
