Oh hey, were you aware that it is, in fact, showtime? This launch trailer for The Sims 3's latest expansion shows a few of the baubles of stardom on offer for ambitious Sims – but the add-on has plenty more to uncover. Showtime aims to provide a wide range of customization options for your Sim's big number. You choose whether you aspire to join the ranks of singers like Katy Perry, magicians like Criss Angel, DJs such as Paul Oakenfold, or acrobats including... you know, that acrobat. The famous one, with the things.
Talking of Ms. Perry, Showtime's released today in two separate editions: the regular $39 disc, or the $49 Katy Perry Edition, including a poster and exclusive Perry-themed content. At time of writing, no one in the office has earned enough Simoleans to unlock the “scallywag British ex” accessory, but it's early days.
