Announced more than a year ago, very little had been heard or seen of Shin Megami Tensei X Fire Emblem, a crossover of two of the most hardcore Japanese franchises Nintendo consoles have ever seen. Now we finally have our first ever look at the Wii U, and it's as anime-infused as you might expect. There's fantastical battles, near-future Tokyo, and plucky high school students with magical powers. Check out the first trailer below.
Eagle-eyed viewers can see the epic fights, some of the classic Fire Emblem characters fighting it out, and some shots of modern day Shibuya. No North American release date has been announced, nor a new title, but the Japanese trailer is a different story. It's coming to Japan this year, and has a title that translates to Illusory Revelations#FE. What could it all mean? Hopefully we'll find out very soon.
