Otocon Laughs Hard

When you are Snake, you have a camera, take pictures of all the posters on those lockers that you see, like girls, or that picture where it shows a guy with no T-shirt on. At the end when you have to send pics of the meal gear, send those other pictures instead! You will get some weird emotions from Otocon.

Defenseless Guards

First, freeze a guard by pointing the M9 or USP/SOCOM at them, then go behind them, shoot their radio , left arm, and right leg. look away or deselect your gun. The guard will try to knock you down, then call for help. but, his radios bust, he cant shoot you , so his only choice is to limp away...moving target!

Getting Past The Laser Thing In The Engine Room

This only works if you have the usp or a better gun do not use the tranquillizer gun the (m9gun) you can shoot the green control on the floor first or the green control above the one on the floor I'd shoot the one one the floor then shoot the one above it when you get past that you'll see laser at the end near the door there's a green control on one of plastic bombs or what every you call it. (warning) If you miss it's Game Over try not to miss but you won't miss if your in First Person View don't shoot the green controls with the Usp gun or better when a guard is near or he'll call for back up you can shoot his radio with a tranquilizer gun if your near him or you can use a chaff grenade jamming all electronic devices and other stuff electronic. When you're doing the laser thing do not crawl or crouch the lasers are so low if you crawl or crouch they'll go off don't try to do that. If you keep on killing yourself you'll never get to be Raiden or beating the game. You can do my way or you can do your on way I'm not forcing you to do my way it's your decision it's your option

Secret Easter Island Statue

When you have to use the Nikita when you are trying to destroy the control panel to stop the electric floor in the presidents room, instead of going the right way, look around the air vents. You might find some pretty interesting stuff (easter island statue)

How To Beat Vamp Easily

This is probably the easiest boss to beat out of them all. Its as simple as this make sure to get full on c4 and grenades before fighting him.

go towards the railing side of the room and plant a c4 on the floor jump over the rail and hang in the water when he walk over to the spot where you hanging detonate the c4(dont worry the c4 won't hurt you if your hanging over the edge) Also whenever he dives in the water simply toss a grenade in there, not only will it hurt him but it will bring him up faster because he runs out of air

If you Quickly plant a c4 and jump over the edge after throwing the grenades you probably wont get hurt at all

Escape Detection Faster

This is one you would already may know but when you are detected by the guards and are running for your life hiding etc. Don't just walk through a door that takes you to another area and when you return to the area you were caught before it returns to normal. used any where any time this little trick.

Flying Marines

This is a funny hint that will get the marines really stirred up and suspicious .When your playing as Snake (tanker mission) go down hold no.3 where METAL GEAR RAY is and go up to the marines and sneak up to one in the back row (any one) and do your punch-kick combo until the marine goes flying and when he does he will hit other marines and they will go flying and they will all go down like bowling pins and the commander doesn't even notice!? but as soon as all of them go down run to some place where you can hide (shoot the 2 cameramen first or else you will be spotted and makes the game no fun)

Codec Moments

After defeating Olga, walk up to her and call Otacon to get a message that she looks like an angel.

After defeating Olga, walk up, and in first person view, shoot her in the head with the M9. Otacon will call saying he cannot believe you.

When on the Plant mission, after getting the Socom, go to the roof of strut A. Use your M9 to put the birds to sleep when they land, then shoot them with the Socom. After killing enough birds, you will get a call asking if you are done being mean to the birds.

Look at the bugs in the Plant mission and call the Colonel (140.85) to get an explanation of why they are there.

Keep calling people on the Codec to get more story elements. Keep calling until they give you control tips, or repeat themselves a few times. This works at a number of times in the game -- try it after every major plot point.

When you are in the B1 level of the Shell 1 Core (the room where the hostages are being kept), try to do a flip to knock out at least three of the hostages. After a while you will receive a call from your CO and Rose saying what a mean person you are for harming those poor defenseless hostages.

Immediately after you first meet Pliskin, stay in the room where he is sleeping on the stairs and call him on the Codec (141.80). He will be asleep and Raiden will watch him. Call a few more times to hear him dreaming about Meryl and Liquid Snake

Make A Guard Surrender

If you see a guard but he doesn't see you, walk up behind him and press L1 (reported as R1 too) and Square and if you did it right Snake/Raiden will say "FREEZE" and the guard will hold up his arms and surrender. TIP: If you shoot a guard on his radio, he can't call for help. If you shoot him in the RIGHT arm, he can't fire, while if you shoot him in the leg he can't run! (you can't use a tranquilizer for this)

How To Unlock Snake In The Plant Chapter

Q

First you have to beat the game in any of the difficulties. Then go to new game and select extreme as the difficulty. When you are in the plant chapter you have to look for four Easter Island statues. They look like brown stones that resemble a flat face. You then have to shoot them in the head with the socom. After you shoot all four you playas snake for the rest of the game.

The statues are located in the computer room of shell 1,one is in the vents where you shoot the nikita to destroy the control panel (you have to look for it, it is hidden in one of the other paths. You can destroy the grills on the vents with 4 sitgers). There is one in the flooded area of shell 2(when you get in the water it should be to the hallway right in front of you and it will be in a box like the ones for ammo. You have to get out of the water when you get it and go to the items menu and select it. Riden will set it on the ground and then you shoot it.) The last one is on to of the lockers where you find Emma. Once u shoot it u should become snake.
