Men In Black / Jump Street crossover still a possibility?

One of the more outlandish rumours that circulated in the past few months was that mooted the possibility of a crossover movie between the Men In Black and Jump Street franchises.

However, as outlandish as the concept seems, according to Chris Miller and Phil Lord, the possibility of such a crossover is still on the table at the studio…

“Nothing’s changed,” says Lord to MTV. “It’s still a crazy idea. We only do things that seem like they’re gonna be terrible, so this only makes it more like that.”

“We certainly would be blessed to have him be a part of it,” continues Lord, when asked whether they have approached Tommy Lee Jones, “but we’re really focusing on just like what’s a great story for Schmidt and Jenko and how to tell the next chapter in their lives, and perhaps use creatures from another world at the same time.”

That said, Miller reiterates that this is simply one of a whole batch of ideas the duo have had regarding potential projects, saying, “we’re developing a lot of things and they may or may not all happen, but that’s how the business works.”

Schmidt and Jenko versus the worst scum of the universe? Sounds like it could still happen…
