GamesRadar+ Approved - Sponsored Offer iBuyPower
Save $500 on this RTX 5070 configuration of one of our favorite gaming PCs
The $2,049 gaming PC has dropped to $1,549 ahead of the holidays
The iBuyPower Slate has never been the most expensive gaming PC on the market, but it has offered consistent value over the years. Now the brand is looking to sweeten the deal a little, with a $500 discount on its RTX 5070 prebuilt rig.
The Intel Core i7-14700KF rig comes with 32GB DDR5 RAM, a 2TB SSD, and the brand's Slate 8 Mesh Pro ARGB casing. That's all built on an MSI Pro Z790-P motherboard with Windows 11 pre-installed. You're grabbing the whole lot for $1,549 for today only (was $2,049). Not bad for a machine that currently sits among the best gaming PCs we've tested so far.
iBuyPower Slate (RTX 5070) | $2,049 $1,549 at iBuyPower
Save $500 - The iBuyPower Slate is down to $1,549 in the brand's latest round of sales, shedding $500 off the $2,049 price tag and coming in $100 cheaper than it was earlier in the week. This offer is part of the brand's 12 Days of Deals promo, which means it will end at midnight.
That comes with iBuyPower's three year labor warranty and two-year parts warranty, with easy access to repairs via Micro Center stores.
The iBuyPower Slate has been sitting in our top recommendations since we first reviewed an RTX 4060 Ti version back in 2024. We were impressed with its minimal bloat, fantastic selection of configuration options, and sturdy performance. Even our reservations around air cooling last year have been resolved here, the newer RTX 50-Series generation comes with an AIO cooler for a quieter experience and more thermal consistency.
The case itself looks largely unchanged compared to the rig we had in-house. This is an RGB-heavy option. It's not just the fans spinning those LEDs, additional lighting lines the PSU for a better look at all those internal components through the windowed side. Even the front features a meshed design.
It's also worth mentioning you're getting DDR5 RAM in here. That's a hot commodity these days, with current pricing surges seeing these sticks sky-rocket in price by themselves.
There's one caveat to this rig, and it comes in the form of an odd packaging quirk we discovered with the previous generation model. This may well have been changed for the RTX 50-Series fleet, but our GPU shipped separately from the PC itself and needed to be installed during our initial setup. It's a small flag, and may not match your experience, but it bares mentioning.
