Of the many, many things one can get up to in GTA 5, you can't stop the train. Rockstar made sure that thing was player-proof in every conceivable way. Naturally, since Crimson Desert has a locomotive, people have started looking into ways to bring it to a halt, and wouldn't you know it, there's a way to do so.
The YouTuber BjornTheBear compiled his scientific research in the area. His methodology is carefully constructed and executed, so as to get the purest results feasible. By which I mean, he chucked various attacks and objects at the vehicle head-on to see what would happen.
First up, your standard offensive maneuvers. Physical attacks like dropkicks do nothing, and neither do spells. But they're obvious. Pearl Abyss was always going to have protections against those. What about some bigger guns?
Article continues belowThe mech? Nope, not a chance. The dragon? Nah. The gigantic, winged beast standing on the tracks means nothing to the power of raw locomotion, and you can spend all day breathing down upon it, but it won't leave a single mark. This is what innovation really looks like!
Unless you put it against some trees. A single log won't do much, too flimsy, but a few will cause a temporary stop. Progress! He then cuts down more timber and places them on the track, leading to a complete halt - but not because of one laid across.
Rather, it's one pointing toward the train that stops it. Success! My best guess here is that the train's collision detection is minimal for the middle of a tree trunk, but the end of one feels too solid. Probably a small oversight, but that allows Crimson Desert to offer what GTA 5 doesn't. So, GTA 6 - your move.
