Lynked: Banner of the Spark is a robo-arm swinging 'rogue-life RPG', where you fight robots for the parts you need to build the town of your dreams

If you ever wanted to solve all your problems with a big robot arm then have we got the game for you. Just out of early access and into full release, Lynked: Banner of the Spark lets you wield the Wyre, a multifaceted grappling mecha hand you can use as you explore and fight your way through this colourful world.

Lynked: Banner of the Spark calls itself a 'rogue-life RPG', combing a roguelite challenge with a life sim, as you battle and explore to find the resources you need to upgrade the town you call home.

Key to all this is the Wyre, a grappling robot arm you can use to fight, fish and more. There are 10 weapons classes to try out, providing over 80 variations to master in the search for an approach that suits you. As you battle through the world you'll collect resources you can use to upgrade your character, while mid mission upgrades are randomized so that no run is ever the same.

Defeat the swarms of robot enemies and tough bosses you'll face and you'll be able to use their parts to upgrade an entire town, that's home for you and a population of robot companions called the Unibots. Here you'll be able to catch fish, collect critters, harvest crops, and craft items to make your base your own.

All this action can be enjoyed solo or with up to three friends, with an extensive array of customization to ensure you all stand out in whatever style speaks to you. And, you can even recruit Unibot companions with their own powers and fighting styles to stand alongside you.

Lynked: Banner of the Spark is out on Steam, PS5 and Xbox Series X.
