Starz has unveiled the first official trailer for Ash vs. Evil Dead, and it’s a gore-soaked, deadite-infested thrill ride… and every bit as groovy as we could have hoped for!
The new series sees a middle-aged Ash called back into combat with the aforementioned deadites, who are on the march once more. However, not everyone is convinced that Ash is the hero he claims to be, with Lucy Lawless’ fellow badass suspecting that he might be to blame for the deadites’ return in the first place...
Check it out, below…
We knew that Bruce Campbell had promised the new show wouldn’t stint on gore, and it looks like he wasn’t kidding! Even more reassuring is the fact that the madcap tone of the original films remains present and correct, with the involvement of Sam Raimi and Robert Tapert clearly evident. Looks like we’re in for quite the Halloween treat when Ash vs Evil Dead debuts on 31 October 2015.
