It wasn't exactly a surprise - we'd already heard that one of the highlights of the Microsoft press conference was going to be a brand new minute long trailer of Resident Evil 5. And about an hour and a half in (well, it felt like that anyway) Peter Moore proved our suspicions true.
As a prelude to our full video coverage of the event, we've plucked the off-screen footage from our camera and, umm, stayed up late to post it for you.
First observation: It looks like it's set in Haiti, as opposed to first suggestions that it was in the middle east. (Haiti has a long tradition of zombie folklore, so it makes sense.)
Second observation: The full length three minute cut will be available on Xbox Live Marketplace on July 27th.
Third observation: It looks mint. As you can see for yourself...
