Ben Affleck and his Alias star missus are parents after Jennifer Garner gave birth to a baby girl at 6.26pm last night. A joint statement from the Daredevil stars publicists Ken Sunshine (yes, really) and Nicole King stated that “Mother, father and baby are doing great.” However there has been no confirmation of the whereabouts of the Affleck-Garners, or the weight of the baby.
The pair began dating in July last year after Affleck split from sometime warbler/actress Jennifer Lopez. They married in June this year at the Parrot Cay resort in the Caribbean.
Internet rumours are rife that the twosome have settled on the name Violet, going against recent Tinseltown tradition of naming your child by flicking through a comic book, stopping at a page and pointing a marker pen at a random character.
