Why you can trust GamesRadar+
You know the drill by now, of course. Some pseudo-scientist in a white coat informs you how stupid you are, and then suggests a series of exercises to help improve your acuity. Brain Challenge offers math, logic and memory puzzles. None are particularly frustrating or ingenious in their design, but some can be tricky to complete against the clock. Do a couple of these ‘exercises’ each day and feel your brain ‘improve’ before your eyes (well, behind it, technically).
You might see a slight improvement in your mental faculties – but then again, this could all be a placebo. Stripped of the dubious ‘training’ element, what you’re left with is a series of basic logic-based minigames, none of which are particularly satisfying.
