Marvel: Ultimate Alliance
Publisher: Activision
Developer: Raven Software
Release Date: Late 2006
Expanding on the concepts behind X-Men Legends, Marvel: Ultimate Alliance takes a good-sized hunk of the gigantic Marvel universe and mashes it into the Xbox - and nothing could delight us more than the prospect of Spider-Man's limbs sticking disjointedly out of the front of our Xbox. Granted, that doesn't sound like anything resembling groundbreaking gameplay, but who cares? It's more of the Marvel superheroes (and not some cheap garbage like that X-Men: The Official Game).
Of course, any game that can deliver to us the enormous head of Galactus has our vote. We're looking forward to embroiling ourselves in mutant mayhem sometime before the year is out.
