Xbox will be getting Windows 10 apps soon, says Microsoft CEO

We've known for quite a while that Cortana, Windows 10 devices' answer to Siri, would be coming to Xbox One after the Windows 10-powered New Xbox Experience was introduced, but according to statements made by Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella, the AI/PA might not be the only bit of desktop tech coming to your console.

Speaking to Microsoft Insider, Nadella reportedly said that Windows 10's Universal Applications would be coming to Xbox One "very soon". Microsoft's Universal Apps are pretty simple: download an app for one Windows 10 device - say, your Xbox One - and the same app will pop up on any connected phones, tablets or PCs.
