No Man's Sky gameplay shows new features and why you might never stop playing

It's official. We might never play another game again. In a new video, No Man's Sky developer Sean Murray goes through some key gameplay features in the overwhelming procedurally generated open world.

Not merely showing off how staggeringly pretty it all is, Murray shows off the crafting and mining system which has its own unique sci-fi periodic table. We've already seen how No Man's Sky will take influences from Minecraft and the video shows this in action as new technologies are crafted for weapons and ships. You can also see how each menu looks, the ways weapons can be upgraded and the sheer scale on offer as you jump in your (of course procedurally generated) ship. Be grateful there's no release date yet and you don't know exactly when your current gaming world will end.
