Here's how to request new Pokemon Go PokeStops and Gyms

If you're trapped in a wasteland bereft of PokeStops and Gyms, or if you just really wish you could farm the front door of your apartment building for Poke Balls, there may be a path forward. Pokemon Go developer Niantic Labs is officially taking submissions for new in-game locations via a support form on its website.

You can either fill out a general "No PokeStops or Gyms near me" ticket and hope that some get parceled out in your general area, or ask about how to create a specific location. The form only allows for business submissions at the moment, but you could always try something less commercial and hope Niantic gets the hint. Make sure you read up on why certain sites are already PokeStops and Gyms before you go on a submission frenzy.

It also looks like Pokemon Go might feature your local McDonalds as a sponsored location in the near future, so that will be somewhere to hang out if you don't mind smelling like fries for the rest of the day. Though be warned: if you try to bike off all those Big Mac calories you may not get kilometers-traveled credit for hatching eggs.
