Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets is one this year's most anticipated sci-fi movies, not least because it comes from the brain of Luc Besson - the mastermind behind The Fifth Element. The trailers have proved it's an action-packed thrill ride full of interesting aliens, space races, and danger, and now we have an exclusive look at one of the supporting characters from the movie.
Say hello to Bob. Bob the pirate to be exact. Played by French actor Alain Chabat, the space pirate will be joining Dane DeHaan’s Valerian and Cara Delevingne’s Laureline when the movie hits cinemas on July 21 in the US and August 2 in the UK. His role is a bit of a mystery at the moment so we don't know what he'll be up to yet, but if Besson's Twitter is anything to go by, he's someone to keep an eye on.
