The place where Sam Raimi studied literature. Sam also decided to make the four students in the original film MSU students also. Michigan State is a Public Ivy University with several campuses, including one in Dubai…
But though that’s a great piece of Evil Dead trivia, a picture of Michigan State University is a bit boring to be honest. Pretty, sure, but a bit lacking in what you want from an Evil Dead feature, so M is also for “Mutual Appreciation” giving us an excuse to show you this great new, clip-packed, NSFW featurette in which the original film’s director Sam Raimi praises the work of the remake’s director Fede Alvarez.
