7) How long is the campaign mode?
Put simply: we have no freaking clue. We were been promised a robust campaign mode with the sweeping epic treatment for our main character, Baldur. That ought to translate directly to "pretty freaking long," but from what we saw in the demo, there were about 15 minutes of gameplay for every 3 of cutscene and you can make it to level 10 in less than an hour (with a level 50 cap). So, your guess is as good as ours.
8) When is this game coming out?
May. No, wait. June. No…
"2008," Dyack snapped the instant the question was asked. He repeated it another two times and then brushed off any other questions that might have given us a clue when we can expect the game to come out (including mentions of the rumored sequels). We did weasel it out of him that we could expect a Marketplace demo sometime just before the game’s release. Hopefully that will be sometime soon… but it won’t because in videogame speak, "2008" means "November" unless it means "December" in which case you’re just as screwed as February.
If you haven’t seen it already, check out ourextensive previewand while you’re at it, witness the gameplay for yourself in these two videos:
