ZombieU gameplay demo from PAX 2012 is... quite scary, actually

Every time we see ZombiU, Ubisoft's Wii U-exclusive FPS/survival horror game, we're more impressed with what the developer was able to do with the hardware. At PAX 2012, we had a chance to see even more of the game--and, yet again, we were left anxious to get more hands-on time with the shooter.

Check out our video, and let us know if you, too, are looking forward to shooting up some zombies when the title hits.

This is looking to justify a quick purchase--or a long begging for a Christmas present. ;) This and the (not confirmed? Possibly fake?) Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask remake make me want this system incredibly bad, even if it's rumored to be just barely more powerful than our current system. The unique game pad makes me think immersion is going to be a big focus here. Also, any word on the WiiU's online? Will it finally be viable, and will we have stores full of NES/SNES/Gamecube/Wii titles?

Ditto about the annoying-as-hell wheezing after any sort of sprinting, that was just ridiculous. Also, the premise is all just a bit silly to me. Fair enough set a zombie game in London, but there AREN'T ANY GUNS IN ENGLAND! Or there are, but only farmers and posh people own them, so how she'd get a 9mm handgun, a carbine rifle and a pump-action shotgun, I have no idea...

Looks sort of interesting, but it doesn't seem like anything amazing to me. I hope the wii u has something better stored around the corner

Not sure how I feel about that controller, but this game looks pretty promising. I like the premise. However, if I have to hear that loud-ass panting every time I sprint I'll definitely be getting pissed.

looks interesting. Shooting and melee look a bit clunky though, and the wheezing the characters make after sprinting 2 feet is horrendous.

This, along with Pikmin 3 and Project P-1000 have made the Wii U a day 1 purchase in my opinion.

Its not confirmed Pikmin 3 will be a launch game but get, 11 more days till we find out

That game looked really cool, but that chick is not going to survive an outbreak.

You know a games good if it keeps impressing you when the last time you demoed it was a couple of weeks ago. ZombieU is really turning out awesome

If this ever got ported to do a different console or pc it would be an instant buy. That controller still puts me off and I wouldn't want to buy a wii u entirely for one game anyway.

That can be said for any exclusive game on a device you don't own/don't want to own. It's supposed to build up jealousy and a reason to own said device.

It will also have Rayman Legends which is also exclusive and then original nintendo games.
