Target Corp. stores this month began holding a new game clearance for Microsoft Corp.'s Xbox 360.
During its recent quarterly earnings call, publisher THQ revealed a mysterious in-production title known as WWE Online.
This week's new video games bring a mix of movies, real-time strategy, sports, and RPGs. Tomorrow (Sunday) is the release of Pokemon Platinum. It will be a big seller for the DS with the large base of Pokémon collectors out there. Now that gamers have warmed up to RTS gaming with Halo Wars, it may be a good time to check out Stormrise from SEGA. Stormrise offers a new perspective to the traditional RTS with a third-person view and "vertical" gameplay. PLAYSTATION 3 gamers looking for a solid RTS fix should check out the "Ultimate Edition" of Command & Conquer: Red Alert 3. Video cutscenes look great on the Blu-ray edition. Try the demo just recently released on the PlayStation Network to see for yourself. Wanted: Weapons of Fate is a movie-inspired game that looks promising. A demo is available on Xbox LIVE and PlayStation Network as well. As a little bonus, we have a video featuring the artist of the Wanted comic book below, courtesy of Hollywood.com. THQ has revealed to the Tour Mode WWE Legends of Wrestlemania
WWE fans have been wondering why Koko B. Ware was selected for the WWE Hall of Fame class of 2009. While he was popular with younger fans (mostly for carrying around a parrot and flapping his arms like an idiot), it's not like he was selling out arenas and he wasn't exactly stellar in the ring. Prowrestling.Net has reported that "The Birdman" was chosen due to his involvement with THQ's Legends of WrestleMania game.
Here's the Euro videogames releases for this week, highlights include WWE Legends of Wrestling, Madworld and GTA Chinatown Wars. All Games are due for release on March 20th unless otherwise stated.
THQ Inc. and JAKKS Pacific, Inc. today announced the WWE Legends of WrestleMania playable demo is now available for free download via Xbox LIVE Marketplace for the Xbox 360 video game and entertainment system from Microsoft, as well as PlayStation Network for the PLAYSTATION 3 computer entertainment system.
DarkZero: It seems Microsoft have gone a bit demo crazy today, as three new demos have just appeared on Xbox Live. All the demos are Xbox Live Gold only though, so there is something to complain about if feel you need to. However, we'd rather complain that too many games beginning with the letter "W" are getting release lately.
THQ and WWE have announced that a demo for the forthcoming Xbox 360 and PS3 brawler, WWE Legends of WrestleMania, will be released on March 5. The demo will let players take to the ring with Hulk Hogan and Andre, plus Bobby "the Brain" Heenan as Andre's manager. You'll be able to fight inside the WrestleMania III arena.

THQ unveil roster complete for WWE Legends of WrestileMania
Hulk Hogan, King Kong Bundy, Ric Flair and The Rock make up a few of the official 42 "Legendary" WWE: Legends of Wrestlemania wrestlers.
Images revealing twenty previously undisclosed characters in the upcoming Legends of WrestleMania video game have surfaced online. Presumably, these are the last twenty characters WWE.com and IGN.com will reveal over the next few days. Images featuring the following characters surfaced.
A source at WWE.com has confirmed that 11 new wrestlers will be included in the upcoming WWE video game, due out on March 24, 2009 for the XBox 360.
Console Monster writes: "We have just added the Achievements for WWE Legends of WrestleMania on the Xbox 360. Depending on the two secret achievements, it seems the game has no online achievements. With 19 achievements you'd expect it to be a kind of easy ride but obtaining all the medals in two different game modes could take some time.

To help out, WWE Hall of Famer, "The American Dream" Dusty Rhodes, will be at THQ booth #1569 on Friday, February 6 for media interviews from 2:30-3:30PM and will greet fans, sign autographs and recall a few of his most famous Mania moments from 3:30-4:30PM. He might even make some bold predictions for the upcoming WrestleMania® 25, set to take place on Sunday, April 5.
WWE Reports: "As will be reported in Science Letter on July 29, THQ's newest wrestling installment, "WWE Legends of WrestleMania," looks to give fans a taste of sports-entertainment's vast history. The game will allow players to relive classic WrestleMania moments as 40 different legendary WWE Superstars and managers. Gamers will also be able to create their own legend and work their way into WWE's Hall of Fame."
DarkZero: "THQ have revealed they will be adding another wrestling game atop of their WWE SmackDown vs. Raw franchise. The new game will go by the name WWE Legends of Wrestlemania. As you could most likely guess with a name like that the game will go on sale in March next year to coincide Wrestlemania 25. If it is successful for the company we could see it becoming an annual release.
