Kotaku writes: Multi-platform acrobatic shooter WET will only be getting a PlayStation 3 release in Japan. The Xbox 360 version has been cancelled.
The Gypsy Pistoleros have announced that Bethesda Softworks' recently-released Action game, WET, will be the sole sponsor of their 2009 October UK Tour. Four tracks from the band's forthcoming album, Hotel de la Muerte, are featured in WET, a highly stylized game developed by Artificial Mind & Movement (A2M) for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.
A2M has kind of confirmed in an exclusive interview with PS3Center that WET will be getting a sequel.

Gamer Limit writes "In our upcoming interview with A2M's Senior Games Designer, Avi Winkler stated that there may not be any future downloadable content (DLC) for their highly anticipated acrobatic-shooter, WET. Despite the increasing trend of both multiplayer modes and micro-transactions on Xbox Live and the PlayStation Network, A2M believes that these extensions may detract the game's overall experience."

SonYou had the chance to interview the creative director Patrick Fortier of WET during a presentation of the game at Amsterdam's Jimmy Woo club.
After Vivendi's game division merged with Activision last year a lot of titles got cut by Activision. Among those titles was the action packed shooter WET from developer A2M. During an interview with Dutch website Gaming Only at an event for the game in Amsterdam today, the game's Creative Director Patrick Fortier, told a different story. He says that after they heard that Activision would not be publishing all of Vivendi's titles, A2M took matters into their own hand and bought back all the rights from Vivendi. Fortier said "we (A2M) did not have enough faith that WET would be at the right place with Activision". He also added that they did not want to wait to find out if the game was still going to be published by Activision or if it would be dropped.
OXCGN:
Bethesda, the newly revealed publisher for Artificial Mind & Movement's upcoming title, WET, has released some facts and details about the game's storyline and features including:
GOONL!NE: "It's been confirmed that Bethesda will publish WET, to be released this year for PS3 and 360."
The last casualty of the Activision Blizzard merger is Wet. A2M's stylish shooting game was announced last year, then went dark after Activision Blizzard dropped many Sierra properties.
The Website for Wet, a new action game from Artificial Mind & Movement is down and has been down for at least two days according to Google's cache of the website. Wet, for release on the PS3 and 360, is a game featuring Muscle-for-hire Ruby, a so-called "problem fixer" who gets double-crossed by her latest client which causes her to unleash her fury across three continents to find the man who left her for dead. No news or explanation for the site's downtime is given on Artificial Mind & Movement's website, leaving one to speculate on weather it is being updated for E3 or fundamental adjustments to the website, changes to the character, or storyline alterations are underway. Only the words "In construction" in French and English along with the sphincter-like logo with the initials A2M below remains; which could leave one with a slightly tainted sense of humor a little giggly.
There have been rumors on the web that a UK game retailer is only showing PS3 cover art for Sierra's hotly anticipated title Wet and therefore it will no longer be available for the Xbox 360. Today, the Bitbag received an e-mail confirmation from Sierra/Vivendi that Wet will not be a PS3 exclusive title. We put a little more confidence in this response than prior "we can neither confirm or deny" statements we have heard from other publishers in the past.
