Not only is Tomb Raider Underworld being welcomed into the Xbox 360 Classics and PlayStation 3 Platinum ranges, the game is finally getting a trophy update for the PS3.
Eidos Interactive Ltd has announced that Tomb Raider: Underworld has been released for the Classics range for Xbox 360 and Platinum Hits range for PlayStation 3 today.
Ian Livingstone has been promoted to 'life president' of Eidos, following Square Enix's acquisition of the company.
Tokyo-based Square Enix just completed its full acquisition of U.K. game maker Eidos this week, and has now revealed the latest sales figures in its arsenal of multi-million-selling titles.
Eidos Interactive have today confirmed the release of the second Downloadable Content pack for Tomb Raider: Underworld for Xbox360. Exclusive to XboxLIVE!, Tomb Raider: Underworld – Lara's Shadow allows gamers to experience Lara's universe from an entirely new perspective: that of the Doppelganger.
According to a Cyrstal Dynamics Press Release players will be, "Stepping into the shoes of the Doppleganger, a clone of Lara Croft, you'll get to witness first hand her superior shadow powers, increased agility and use her ability to slow time to unleash devastating melee combos."
Pushing the boundaries of the Tomb Raider franchise to its limits with the second downloadable content pack exclusive to Xbox Live, Crystal Dynamics talks openly in its latest developer diary about the challenges and triumphs of its latest endeavour.

Console Monster writes: "It was just last week Tomb Raider: Underworld was getting three new achievements and now we have just added the Achievements for the game. The achievements can be unlocked in Lara's Shadow – the second downloadable content for the game, set to release in March.
Console Monster writes: "Just when you thought the new achievements for downloadable content had come to an end, Tomb Raider: Underworld has just been increased 1125 GamerScore thanks to three new achievements. Judging by the achievement description: "Complete the Beneath the Ashes Mission," I think it's safe to say the achievements are for the Beneath the Ashes download content which was intended to release on the 10th. No flair, no fireworks, and no exploding volcanoes this time around. However, Tomb Raider Forums member WhiteTiger may have found an alternate ending to Lara's latest trek hidden in the game files on the PC release. The alternate ending is quite a bit more spicy than the original, and it seems to be a bit out of character for Ms. Croft. The original and alternate endings are embedded past the break."
