Street Fighter IV

Street Fighter movie storyboard punches the 'net

Chun-Li's running and getting shot at

Producers of the new Street Fighter movie, which has now been given the subtitle 'Legend of Chun-Li,' have launched a blog to tease about the latest silver screen outing for the Capcom fighter. Weirdly, you're asked for a username and password for the blog (maybe it's broken at the moment), but a storyboard for the new film that's been released, showing Chun-Li running and getting shot at:

Unfortunately Kyle Minogue isn't in this one, but Kristen Kreuk (of Smallville fame) IS. Also starring are Michael Clark Duncan, Neal McDonough, and Taboo of the Black Eyed Peas. Maybe it wouldn't have been that far-fetched to have gotten Minogue on board after all...

"The Street Fighter movie is only one of many projects Capcom has planned to celebrate the 20th anniversary of Street Fighter," the company says of the flick.

"The film will be made in conjunction with Hyde Park Films, and will be distributed by 20th Century Fox for a scheduled 2009 worldwide release."
