Capcom, a leading worldwide developer and publisher of videogames, announced today that UK's premier Street Fighter player Zak Bennet will attempt to break into the Guinness World Records Gamer's Edition with a new world record for most consecutive wins on Street Fighter IV, in conjunction with the game's launch on Friday 20th February.

The latest word from Capcom is that Street Fighter IV has sold out in Japan. The game was released in Japan on the 12th of February but Capcom has confirmed that "There ARE no more copies to sell on the store shelves."
Gameplayer are reporting that the street date for Street Fighter IV has been broken and the game is now on sale.

Street Fighter IV went on sale in Japan yesterday, simultaneously for the PS3 and XBox 360. The title had a pretty good opening day, selling 86,000 copies in total. The PS3 version sold 58,000 copies, while the 360 version sold 28,000.

The website lets your face get into the Street Fighter action, as through the site you can upload images of your face to overlay onto your favorite fighters."
