Rez HD - Xbox Live Arcade

Rez HD announced

Techno shooter has been revived for Xbox LIVE Arcade. No word on whether the Trance Vibrator will come back as well

Sept 20, 2007

Developer, Q Entertainment has just announced that their psychedelic shooter, Rez will be unleashed on Xbox Live in early 2008 under the working title Rez HD. Rez was originally released in North America and Europe on the PS2 and Dreamcast in 2002, and received gushing praise from critics.

The media seemed to love Rez’ unique look and the way that sound effects from blowing stuff up were incorporated into its techno soundtrack. But not everyone was blown away. Click here to check out our Top 7… You love ‘em, we hate ‘em feature for a refreshingly hateful look at the much loved title.

Rez was also known for having the kinkiest PS2 peripheral ever. The Trance Vibrator was marketed as “the one and only vibrator available for your video game console.” The vibrator is currently out of stock at Play-Asia, and there’s currently no news as to whether you can look forward to “plugging-in” with your partner with a 360 version of the device.
