360 - Fable 2 Pub Games - Xbox Live Arcade - Fable 2 Pub Games – Xbox Live Arcade

Apparently trying to drum up anticipation for the release of Fable 2, developer Lion Head has spewed forth this mini-collection of minigames. While designed to be passable time-wasters, these three games, including Keystone, Fortune’s Tower, and Spinnerbox also have a nefarious hook. ...

360 - Fable II - Fable II

Forget acorns growing into oak trees. Forget a hero moulded by moral choice. Forget a world forged over 30 years. This is role-playing in the child’s sense: dress up and pretend. Example: at one point we played a highwayman. ...

360 - FaceBreaker - FaceBreaker

When you launch a new product range, your first game/cheese/film/whatever has to embody everything that’s good about the brand. SSX was the perfect launch game for EA BIG because it captured everything the label stood for; that is to say exciting, extreme and over the top. Unfortunately for EA Freestyle, flagship title FaceBreaker couldn’t be a bigger mismatch if it tried. ...

360 - Fairytale Fights - Fairytale Fights

There’s one good thing about Fairytale Fights – the combat doesn’t suck. Well, not immediately anyway. Sadly, everything else that surrounds this average hack and slash gameplay pretty much does. The story, the platform bits, right down to the character design – which reminds us of the annoying Rabbids – all of it makes for a huge drag. The worst bit? It costs as much as a top-brand game. ...

360 - Fallout 3 - Fallout 3

Nobody knows who dropped the first bomb, and nobody cares. 200 years have passed since a nuclear war between the U.S. and China reduced the planet to cinders, and humanity has only one concern: survival. The fallout not only destroyed civilisation, but twisted and distorted it. ...

Comics and games are a combo right on par with popcorn at the movies, and Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer is no exception. The game takes plot elements from the movie it's based on and the comic series to weave a story chucked full of Fantastic Four nemeses. Everyone from the Skrull to Terrax to, dum, dum, dummmm: the Silver Surfer makes an appearance. But instead of feeling like a universe encompassing rumble, it just feels like more enemies for The Thing to smash. You'll begin the ...

360 - Far Cry 2 - Far Cry 2

When you first start playing Far Cry 2, you’ll be forgiven for thinking that it absolutely bloody hates you. Gunfire flies from nowhere, peppering you to pieces before you’ve even seen your attacker. Your fragile health bar drops to almost nothing within seconds. ...

360 Review
The island-themed, first-person shooter Far Cry Instincts for the Xbox isn't currently playable on the 360. This is relevant because, although this 360 game gets its own name, it's really an upgraded and bundled version of Instincts and its expansion pack, Far Cry Instincts Evolution. It's actually a great value for the money, just as long as you don't already own one of the other releases. Though lead flies aplenty from all manner of weaponry, and the scripted event sequences turn you into an ...

Sept 12, 2007 The Xbox 360's garage is outrageously well-stocked with racers, yet Koei has spied a gap in this market, hence Fatal Inertia - what initially looks like Koei's answer to Wipeout but transpires to be more like a, well... rubbishy futuristic version of Diddy Kong ...

360 - FEAR 2: Project Origin - FEAR 2: Project Origin

Any game in which you have a small powder keg of gunfire at your disposal shouldn’t be scary. It certainly shouldn’t be creepy. It shouldn’t have you slowly stalking a dimly lit corridor packing a beefy shotgun in anticipation of the grim, blood-soaked ghoul that’s lurking around the corner. ...
