SuccesFull.fr has just published the achievement list for Red Faction: Guerrilla.
Volition has revealed that their apparent April 1st dev diary shenanigans of an 'Ostrich Hammer' weapon in their shooter Red Faction: Guerrilla are in fact real; as is the item, which can be unlocked for multiplayer.
What was thought by many to be an April Fools joke is actually a legitimate gameplay element.
If you wondered why Volition decided to pull the camera back and make Red Faction: Guerrilla a first-person-shooter, you're not alone. There are still developers at Volition who wish the sequel had stayed true to its roots.

Volition has told Dutch website Gaming Only that they will release a demo for Red Faction: Guerille. The demo will most likely appear in the beginning of January, a month before the release in February 2009.
