Microsoft Australia have just announced a special Christmas package for the Xbox 36 Elite. The bundle comes with Lego Batman, Pure, the 120GB hard drive, headset and wireless controller.
Blackrock Studios' 2008 racing game Pure found tremendous critical success. So much so, that it appears that there were plans, at least initially, for a sequel. However, according to a blog post by a former Blackrock Studios employee, Pure 2 was canceled by Disney some time in 2009.
Nominations for Develop Industry Excellence Awards are unveiled, and two developers are likely to walk away with most of them.
Taking place on Thursday April 23rd at The Brewery, Chiswell Street, London, this year's MCV Industry Excellence Awards will be the most hotly-contested ever, with 17 accolades up for grabs, across a diverse range of categories covering the entire industry.

"Pure" is an off-road, trick-oriented ATV racer, but you wouldn't know it from the title.
Black Rock director Jason Avent has stated a sequel to the highly welcomed off road racer 'Pure' is being considered along with downloadable content for the original.
Black Rock director Jason Avent has told VG247 that the studio hopes to extend ATV racer Pure into another game, and that DLC may well be on the way for the game.
Speaking to VG247 today, Pure director Jason Avent said that the differences between PS3 and 360 were comparable to the differences between LCD and Plasma TVs.
Pure, the award-winning action sports video game, shipped today and will be available at all major retailers on September 23. Pure will be available for the Xbox 360 video game and entertainment system from Microsoft, PlayStation 3 computer entertainment system and Windows based-PC.
Disney Interactive has released a dozen images of the cast of their upcoming off-road racing title, Pure, along with character descriptions and a list of Achievements for the Xbox 360 version.
A 26 song tracklist has be released for Pure, such songs included are Pendulum -"Granite' and 'Showdown"
