Prince of Persia Prodigy emerges

Official Prince website relaunches... is a new game reveal imminent?

Internet forums and adventure fans are on red alert this morning, after eagle-eyed 'net stalkers spotted a new coat of paint on the official Prince of Persia website.

You can see that the site is little more than an oozy Arabic word, which we're being told translates to "Minjar," or "telescope," which tells us damn nothing really.

Rumour suggests that the site is for the mysterious Prince of Persia Prodigy, which has been doing the rounds on trademark and domain reg sites for a while now.

There hasn't been a proper Prince of Persia game since 2005's The Two Thrones, so we're looking forward to seeing what Ubisoft comes up with for the next evolution of the series.

Searching through the source code of the website also reveals interesting words such as, 'Ubisoft Montreal' and 'Ubidays'. We imagine more sense will be made of this at the end of publisher's May event, then... stay tuned.
