The Prince of Persia Epilogue downloadable content will be released on March 5, rather than February 26, as originally advertised. Ubisoft has also revealed that the additional chunk of PoP gameplay will cost you 800 Microsoft Points (US $10).

On December 3, Ubisoft will be "re-launching" the Prince of Persia franchise with a new title (simply called Prince of Persia) for the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, PC. The Nintendo DS will be getting its own little adventure as well, in the form of Prince of Persia: The Fallen King. So what about a Wii version?
As part of today's 1UP interview with Prince of Persia team members Ben Mattes (producer) and Michael McIntyre (level designer), Mattes discussed the idea of having hidden messages in games and revealed that for Prince of Persia the team at Ubisoft Montreal came up with a written statement to guide them during development -- one they intend to keep secret upon the game's release.

Ubisoft are asking fans of the upcoming Prince of Persia game for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC to take a video of themselves asking a question that they would like Ubisoft to answer, and the team will then answer the question by uploading a new video to its YouTube profile.

The expanded 32-page comic book will span roughly four times longer than the usual Penny Arcade comic and explore the Prince's relationship with Elika. Ubisoft also took the wraps off of a first-of-its-kind pre-order special for its new Prince of Persia game. The new program will automatically upgrade the pre-ordering consumer's copy of the game from "standard" to a new Limited Edition version.
