Namco Bandai has dominated the air combat genre with "Ace Combat" for years without much competition, but Ubisoft is taking the series head on with the Tom Clancy-branded "HAWX" in March. Atari have announced that some more downloadable planes will be available for their ace flying game, Ace Combat 6. Typically each plane has a unique look and will cost in the region of 300-400 points each (with one being FREE). There's also some screenshots available.

Nov 9, 2007 Weekly Xbox 360 sales jumped phenomenally in Japan during the week ended November 4 to outsell Sony's rival next-gen console. The latest data from Media Create shows that weekly Xbox 360 sales rose from 3,718 to 17,673, while PS3 sales fell slightly to 17,434. According to Japanese blogger 'Sinobi', which regularly updates with early sales figures, Koei's Wii-exclusive RPG 'Opoona' - which has been getting positive previews and good magazine coverage - has sold only 2,500 copies on its first day with 3.7 million Wii's in Japan. Ace Combat 6, with fewer than 500,000 Xbox 360 in Japan, has passed 35,000 units.
