When we reach the end of August, you'll most likely have a copy of Saints Row for Xbox 360 in your hands. THQ and developer Volition want you to tear up the virtual city of Stilwater with a host of gangs that aren't just your run of the mill punks (although they do look a little rough around the edges at first). In this multi-part series, IGN will peel back the layers of depth, customization and control you'll have with Saints Row.
Working with THQ and Volition, IGN secured a two-pronged exclusive that gives gamers an unparalleled in-depth look at the making of its urban mayhem game, Saints Row. Created as a 3D, open design game in the style and structure of Grand Theft Auto, Volition takes the genre, gives it a next-generation look and feel and brings a fully-fledged and unprecedented online component to the genre.
It seems that official Saints Row website has announced that a single player demo for third-person title will be available on August the 1st. The game looks set to be release on the 29th of August so it will give gamers a while month to try before they buy.
THQ has announced that its upcoming open-world action adventure game, Saints Row, is scheduled to ship to North American retailers on August 29, 2006.
