360 News from N4G | Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End
360 - Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End - PotC: At World's End ships in Japan as a Nintendo exclusive For a blockbuster hit like the Pirates of the Caribbean, you would think that publishers would jump on the opportunity on the franchise's fame and rake in shiploads of moolah by porting it to all conceivable platforms possible.

But not Disney Interactive Studios. While Jack Sparrow and the rest of his crew will be basking under the sun across multiplatforms on U.S. shores, Japan will only find them exclusively on Nintendo platforms. That's right, Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End will only be shipped for the Japanese Wii and DS.

They will see just how much gold they'll be raking in with this double-edged move.

360 News from N4G | Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End
360 - Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End - You'll never guess what game will support 1080p... PS3fanboy reports how Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End is going to be displayed in 1080p where available. Why is this such a surprise? Because normally games based off of movies (based off of amusement park rides) hardly get any sort of beauty treatment.

They explain this by saying the game isn't that visually impressive. It looks good, but more like a 360 launch title than a second-gen 360 and semi-first-gen PS3 title. Check out the picture they used. Don't look at Jack -- look at the dude in the middle. Completely emotionless, like an N64 character.

360 News | Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End
Disney Interactive has released the first screenshots of Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End - and we've never seen such a huge visual leap between two Wii and Xbox 360 counterparts. As you can see from the supplied evidence the 360 version is shaping up quite nicely, while the Wii edition, with it's sub-PS2 character models and ticket to jaggy hell, needs to be thrown overboard. We'll let you guess which screen is ...
