360 News from N4G | The Incredible Hulk
360 - The Incredible Hulk - Iron Man, Hulk, Alien games power Sega's reinvention It's no mean feat powering up from being video game publisher No. 14 in 2004 to becoming the industry's sixth largest third-party publisher today. But Sega of America is tasting that success. Industry analysts credit its president and COO since 2005, Simon Jeffery, as the force behind the company's struggle to reinvent itself.

In fact, come May 2, when the Marvel Enterprises-produced "Iron Man" blasts into movie theaters, Sega is counting on the day-and-date release of its video game version to inject even more life into what was once a very anemic portfolio.

"Historically, Sega hasn't been part of the license business," explains Jeffery. "But we felt that in order to gain market momentum, we absolutely needed to have big game-appropriate movie licenses under our belt."

However, this seems not to be the case, and Lucasarts have now confirmed they've decided to work solely on Staff of Kings, making a "strategic business decision" to end development of the 360/PS3 versions.

360 News from N4G | Indiana Jones 2007
360 - Indiana Jones 2007 - Despite rumors, LucasArts is 'committed' to new Indiana Jones game Joystiq Writes:
GN reports that "multiple sources" at LucasArts and "elsewhere" indicate that the developer's next-gen Indiana Jones game has been canceled; however, Joystiq has contacted LucasArts for an official statement and things don't appear so cut-and-dry.

According to a LucasArts representative, "LucasArts remains absolutely committed to the Indiana Jones franchise. While we are aware that fans have been eagerly awaiting additional information on the upcoming game, they can rest assured that details are forthcoming."

Well, that doesn't sound like the game is dead, although there's certainly wiggle room in that quote to speculate that the long-in-development title has been killed with another taking its place. Of course, that would just be our old friends Rumor and Speculation stopping by to say hi.
