Lionhead boss and Fable II creator Peter Molyneux has refused to confirm whether a PC version of the hotly anticipated Xbox 360 exclusive RPG will be coming out.
The Xbox 360's big hitters this Fall, namely Fable 2, Fallout 3, and Gears of War 2, are actually set to release in India a full week prior to the official worldwide release dates. Apparently, this is Microsoft's way of saying "thanks" to its customer service department.
dailygamesnews.com - Many would argue this generation has brought year after year of fantastic titles and it looks like fall '08 will continue the trend. We've picked out the UK releases alone for the Xbox 360 with a superb selection of titles being released every week.
The co-op features in upcoming Xbox 360 exclusive RPG Fable II are only possible because of the way Xbox LIVE is structured, Lionhead boss Peter Molyneux has told VideoGamer.com.
Speaking to VG247 yesterday, Lionhead boss Peter Molyneux said that it was his "ambition" to include online co-op in Fable II in a first day patch, and that everything was "going well" to achieve the goal.
dailygamesnews.com - Man, we thought the UK release schedule was intense, gamers in the US have a plethora of fantastic titles arriving over the month.
GameFocus: "Our french gaming site (Game-Focus.com), present at the Festival du Jeu Vidéo (Video Game Festival) in Paris has told us that the Fable II online co-op mode, expected to be delayed after the game's launch, will be available on launch date despite the early reports from last week."
Split-screen writes: "At a recent event held in Delhi, Microsoft revealed some very interesting pieces of information. For one thing, most sites have posted conspiracies and possible shots of what appeared as the console's slim version; Engadget received a tip as far back as May concerning the planned 45nm Valhalla combined CPU / GPU motherboard design for the 360 and how it would most likely come in a new slim case."
More bad co-op news. It appears Fable 2 will be launched sans the online co-op mode that was originally promised, but much like the recently announced news of Little Big Planet's missing feature, it will be patched later.
Legendary Lionhead head honcho Peter Molyneux has defended his recent honesty over the quality of Xbox 360 exclusive Fable II, but admitted that it has got him into trouble with publisher Microsoft.
