MaxConsole.net "MaxConsole reader Kevin has mailed in to let us know his frustrations regarding false advertising on MX vs ATV Untamed for the PS3. The Official website and GameStop advertise it as having a 12 player multiplayer but it only has 8 player multiplayer. He indicates that the game is just a 'crappy port' of the 360 version and the gas and break are supposed to be analog but they are not and the graphics are so grainy they may as well be in a PS2 game."

Dec 17, 2007 Youll probably often hear MX compared to the PS3 launch game Motorstorm, with both offering a similarly comprehensive vehicle set and both flinging mud about the place like a pig in the poo pond. But where Motorstorm is among the most beautiful racers ever made, MX is as plain as a bowling shoe and - because of that, we fear - likely to get a bit of a thrashing sales-wise on store shelves. - Bethesda's (Elder Scrolls: Oblivion) online debut will be a launch title for the next Xbox.
- The new Ghost Recon game is still a few years away. The game will not go further on in the Advanced Warfighter part, and the game also doesn't take place in cities anymore.
- Ubisoft is planning some radical changes for the new Sam Fischer game.

MX vs ATV Untamed is set to debut on Wii, PS3, 360 and DS in January 2008. The new offroader will feature a new Endurocross mode that THQ says, "pit[s] gamers against logs, rocks, mud-pits and more, illustrating the full potential of the franchise's cutting-edge Rhythm Racing physics engine." THQ announce MX v ATV Untamed, Coming to Nintendo for first time (News)

THQ have announced that their best-selling off-road racing franchise will be heading to a number of consoles, including the Wii, Nintendo DS, Xbox 360, PS3, PSP and PSP in 2008. It is the first time the franchise has appeared on Nintendo consoles. "We've taken the core MX vs ATV racing experience and tailored game-play to match the strengths of each individual gaming machine" says THQ. It's good to see THQ pony up with some Wii and DS titles outside there normally Nintendo portfolio (ie kids games).
