Harmonix and MTV Games announced today the addition of four new tracks to the Rock Band Music Store catalog of downloadable content from bands Snow Patrol, Deep Purple, James Gang and Jethro Tull.
Target Corp. stores this week began offering an exclusive two-guitar bundle of Activision Inc.'s Guitar Hero: World Tour for under $90 to customers.
Looks like Rockband started another trend. Today Activision announced that Guitar Hero World Tour would be getting a Country pack of there own. The pack will also include Rascal Flatts "Me and My Gang, Brad Paisley's "Ticks" and Brooks & Dunn's "Hillbilly Deluxe. The GHWT country pack should hit around January 8th.
The Eagles Track Pack for Guitar Hero World Tour is available today for Xbox 360, PS3 and Wii. From The Eagles' seventh studio album and first in 28 years, Long Road Out of Eden, "Frail Grasp on the Big Picture" is joined by two classic tracks that climbed to the top of the Billboard's Hot 100, "One of These Nights" and "Life in the Fast Lane."

Three songs from nineties grunge band Nirvana are now available as downloadable content for Guitar Hero World Tour. Apparently it's the first time their songs have appeared as DLC for Guitar Hero, a fact that only interests people concerned with the word count of their gaming news article.
