Geometry Wars: Retro Evolved - Xbox Live Arcade

Bizarre working on Geometry Wars 2

PGR dev all hushes and giggles over XBLA sequel

It looks like the chances of us seeing a sequel to the stupidly addictive Xbox Live Arcade shooter Geometry Wars are quite good, if Bizarre Creations' reaction to our queries this afternoon are anything to go by.

When we asked Boom Boom Rocket masterminds Sam Hall and Nick Bygrave if we'll see more of the psychedelic shooter in the future, they replied simply with shared looks, giggles and a hushed response: "We can't say anything about that." It's blatantly coming then.

Above: Will it get even more intense than the kind of stuff shown here in the original Geometry Wars?

But what would you like to see in a Geometry Wars sequel? The first thing that comes to our minds is new enemy types, gameplay twists and even more spectacular neon visuals.

Look out for the full interview with the Bizarre Creations pair in the next few days and let us know what you'd like to see in Geometry Wars 2 in our forums. Online? Co-op?
