LucasArts has announced that their latest title for the Playstation 3 and Xbox 360, Fracture, will be hitting their respective online platforms on September 18th.
An ad in The Force Unleashed instruction manual touts an already available Fracture demo.
Console Monster writes: "We have just added the Achievements for Fracture on the Xbox 360. At first glance the achievement list has indicated there are only three acts. Whether this means the game will be on the short side is currently unknown. The list also gives a good indication of some of the weapons and moves that players will be able to use and perform during the game. To unlock the full 1000 GamerSore players will have to complete all three acts on both difficulties, collect data cells, accumulate kills with every gun in the game and to win and play online games.
"New Fracture Multiplayer footage surfaced in the form of a walkthrough. I tried really hard to watch it, and focus only on the game itself, but all I could think was "oh my God, that is going to be CliffyB in twenty years."

Lucas Arts has released a Q&A for Fracture that goes into more depth about the game and what players can expect.
On the back of LucasArts deciding to develop Star Wars: The Force Unleashed only for consoles and not the PC, VideoGamer.com caught up with Fracture's assistant producer Jeffrey Gullett to find out if the company's other big action game for 2008 had a chance of a PC release. It seems not.

Speaking to VideoGamer.com at a press event for terrain deforming action game Fracture last week, game producer Jeffrey Gullet revealed that the team got feedback from a lot of sources, including George Lucas. It seems much of the feedback centred on the game's main character.
