Apparently, gaming blog Next Gen News credited MTV Multiplayer with the info, but made it sound like there's actually a patch coming to the 360 or PC. There is no patch at all, it's just a part of the DLC functionality."
360 and PC gamers will now be able to continue playing unfinished side quests even after Fallout 3's ending with a new Patch coming out.

Fallout 3 players have criticized their inability to keep exploring the wasteland after finishing the main storyline, and while that feature is coming to Xbox 360 and PC users via downloadable content, Bethesda Softworks told MTV Multiplayer there are no plans to update the PlayStation 3 version with the same feature.

This time around there are four new achievements, three of which worth 20 points and the fourth worth 40 GamerScore. The new achievements can only be unlocked in Operation: Anchorage, the downloadable content for Fallout 3 releasing on the 27th January at 800 Microsoft Points.
