New screens from the Dead or Alive holiday getaway

As the days get shorter and the nights get colder, a fresh batch of postcard snaps from the upcoming Xbox 360 beach-life sim are always welcome.

Dead or Alive: Xtreme 2's new island features three hotels for the girls to return to after a long day of minigames and tanning - your chosen character determines which of Seabreeze Cottage, Gemstone Suite or Moonlight Reef will be your home away from home.

If there are three times the hotels, there is an even bigger variety of swimsuits up for collection, with well over 2,000 making the cut. Developer Team Ninja promises each girl will have a wardrobe of uniquely-designed suits - expect next-gen fabric effects and cloth physics galore, if your eyes are sensitive to technical specs - rather than sharing each others' hand-me-downs.

Scheduled for November, DOAX2 will be hitting our shores in time for a sandy Christmas.
