Drakol at The Bitbag reports that save data for this title may be causing Xbox 360s to freeze regardless of which game is in the console.

"My 360 console froze within a couple of hours, I reset the console. It froze again, but within minutes. Reset. That's all I did for ten minutes. I placed another game inside, but that also froze. The discs were clean, the console was almost new."

Dark Messiah DLC hits Live days before release (News)

The upcoming Source engine first-person roleplaying game, Dark Messiah of Might and Magic: Elements, is hitting retail shelves on February 12. However, one of Xbox360Fanboy.com's eagle-eyed readers noticed downloadable content was already made available over Xbox Live Marketplace. At a cost of 400MS space-bucks you can add new maps, classes and weapons.

While Xbox360Fanboy.com is all about being proactive here at X3F, they wonder why this content isn't on the disc. They don't imagine the 151MB download would have filled a standard DVD to bursting and considering Dark Messiah was originally released on the PC in 2006, you'd imagine Ubisoft would find the time to toss it on the retail disc.

The achievements for Dark Messiah of Might & Magic: Elements have been revealed. The game will feature 49 achievements for a grand total of 1000 points. Most of the single player achievements should be able to be achieved during the normal course of the game, and there are also quite a few multiplayer achievements to interest the true fans of the franchise. Ubisoft kicks off the countdown to the release of Dark Messiah of Might and Magic: Elements with the launch of the game's official website, darkmessiahelements.com. The website will allow gamers to access the most up-to-date information on Sareth's quest adapted to Xbox 360. Visitors will learn more about the storyline, and key features of the game, and get the most up-to-date content and assets about the game.

Newly available on the Xbox Live Marketplace this morning is a demo for Dark Messiah of Might and Magic: Elements. The 689MB download includes single-player and multiplayer content.

The 360 version has a new lock-on feature, tweaked level design and game statistics. There are also three previously unreleased single-player levels and multiplayer maps, with new objectives, gameplay, and rewards.

Elements will be released February 5.

Ubisoft has confirmed that Dark Messiah of Might & Magic: Elements has been pushed back into early 2008.

The first-person fantasy action game is now due in the fourth quarter of the publisher's financial year, which means it will be released sometime between January and the end of March.

Ubisoft has moved the release date for Dark Messiah of Might & Magic: Elements, moving it back a few weeks to 7th December.

Dark Messiah of Might & Magic: Elements is an Xbox 360-exclusive game, Ubisoft has confirmed with CVG this afternoon.

News on the game's existence broke yesterday evening at the publisher's UbiDays event currently underway in Paris.

Expect Might & Magic: Elements to be PC's Dark Messiah with extra content bells and whistles.

And if you missed Dark Messiah of Might & Magic on PC, it's a fantasy-powered, first-person action-RPG built on Valve Software's Source engine.
