First Aliens images arise

Aliens: Colonial Marines looking amazing, even in sketchy scans

This game needs to be awesome. It really does. And by the looks of the first images, Gearbox Software is going the right way about it.

Marines can be seen blasting at aliens and Facehuggers with meaty machine guns in dark, moody corridors.

Now, we'll admit that the scans look so good that we wouldn't be surprised if they're actually cheeky renders. But if this is the art direction Gearbox is going for, then we're happy regardless.

Take a look at the scans via CVG, and keep 'em peeled for more official info on the game soon.
