A couple of weeks ago, Capcom held a contest exclusively for press editors. We were given a task to figure out how to unlock a secret Unlockable item in the game. However, we're sad to report that we didn't manage to win the contest. However, now that someone won the contest, the secret is now out to the public.

Capcom has announced the release date for the Xbox 360's Xbox LIVE Arcade release and PLAYSTATION 3's PlayStation Store release of 1942: Joint Strike.

Xbox LIVE Arcade release: 7/23/08
PlayStation Store release: 7/24/08

Xbox 360 gamers will get it first (PS3 gamers must be feeling those strict Thursday PlayStation Store updates).
