Star Wars Celebration marks its 40th anniversary with a poster of old and new characters

Star Wars posters always knock it out of the park and into a galaxy far, far away and this poster – designed for April’s Star Wars Celebration event and marking the franchise’s 40th anniversary – is no exception.

While you patiently (or impatiently) wait for that pesky Star Wars: The Last Jedi trailer to drop, take in every last beautiful sketch of the poster below, as the art combines the very best of the Original Trilogy, Star Wars: The Force Awakens and, yes, even the prequels.

The Star Wars Celebration takes place April 13-16 in Orlando – and kicks off with a 40th anniversary panel.

Are they any glaring omissions from the poster? Should Star Wars: Rogue One get a spot? Or do you feel really strongly about Darth Maul or (whisper it) Jar Jar’s absence? Let us know in the comments!
