Here's a novelty: the chance to revisit Robert Wise's Salzburg schmaltzathon without a bunch of fancy-dressing saddoes sing-along-ing to every number. Okay, so there can't be many out there who remain unacquainted with Dame Julie Andrews' Anschluss adventures. Having been assaulted with the tacky travesty that was /How Do You Solve A Problem Like Maria?, however, this limited re-release at least lets us remember this 1960s classic the way it was, before Andrew Lloyd Webber decided to debase its legacy. So what should you watch out for this time around? Well, there's the real Maria's cameo during 'I Have Confidence', the Tardis-style gazebo that's bigger on the inside and that pre-ripped Nazi flag.
