I have only played through the first game so I will be getting this, can't wait to see these games in HD
  • SumthingStupid - November 16, 2010 12:07 p.m.

do you need move to play it?
  • kor2disturbed - November 16, 2010 9:12 a.m.

I bought this and it brought back alot of memories, this is still one of my favorite series of all time.

@GamesRadarBrettElston This looks like a really great deal, but the only Sony thing I've got is the PSP... How much better is this than Metroid Prime Trilogy, since: A)You reviewed that, too... B) They're both three-part compilations, and... C) mostly cater to fans of the originals? I'd probably get this if I had something on which to play it. I already think Carmelita is a far better female fox-type character than Krystal from Star Fox.
  • GamesRadarBrettElston - November 16, 2010 7:45 a.m.

Oh if anyone's interested... the games are also presented in 3D, if you have a compatible TV and the glasses. Which I'm guessing A)Most of us do not have and B)Even if we did, we're not about to play 5-8 year old games that have had 3D crammed in. Seriously, why waste time with Move minigames and 3D? We're not buying HD remake compilations for NEW shit, we're buying them for OLD shit. Use that time and money to make some cool bonus features, like behind the scenes or interviews or game-relevant stuff, not tacked-on afterthoughts.

You and Chris were pretty hype about the trilogy during the podcasts. It's nice that the series still holds up. Definite buy.

"Side note: We’re not sure why Sly was targeted for an HD remake over the Jak and Ratchet trilogies" lol hahahahahaha!!!!
  • garnsr - November 16, 2010 3:51 a.m.

I've tried both Best Buys here and neither has the game yet. I always wanted to play them, but never got around to it for some reason. I'm not sure I'd replay the Ratchets if they released them, since I played the Ps2 ones twice each, and all the PS3 stuff, and I liked the first Jak, but not the second so much, so Sly is the best choice for me.
  • Cyberninja - November 16, 2010 3:26 a.m.

my favorite games were 3 and 1 i didnt like 2 much but when this gets a price drop i will get this because i already have all 3 for ps2 i will wait for it to be $30 a least
  • sgloomy - November 16, 2010 3:22 a.m.

how the hell is this the first time I'm hearing about this? sony needs to advertise this stuff instead of move, we get it, everyone is doing motion censor, it is really not that entertaining anymore, its like one of those extra craps you buy and use for a while, then it becomes dust collector and we all move on to better things, like awesome HD remakes!!!
  • BlackElement17 - November 16, 2010 3:06 a.m.

    Love that furry bastard.
  • MrSuitMan - November 16, 2010 3:04 a.m.

Missed this series the first time around during PS2 days due to playing Jak and Daxter and Ratchet and Clank instead. Finally great able to playing them all in one convenient package.
  • Tenfey - November 16, 2010 2:44 a.m.

Makes me sad my PS3 died.
  • onewingedantista - November 16, 2010 2:37 a.m.

Sly 2 is my second favorite game of all time (Battlefront II's the first). I LOVE these games. I can't wait for 4, I'll buy it day one.
  • MJHAYLETT - November 16, 2010 2:37 a.m.

I've got the God of War Collection, I have the Sly Collection on Pre-order (out early Dec in the UK), Prince of Persia Collection comes out on Friday and the Team Ico HD Collection is a Day One. All in all I love these HD Collection. Ratchet and Clank, Jak and Daxter, SSX, Hitman, GTA, bring em on baby! :D
  • TheWebSwinger - November 16, 2010 2:25 a.m.

I LOVE SLY. I never played the first one all the way through, but I absolutely loved 2 and 3 (my sister and I even used to play the stupid ancillary multiplayer minigames in 3)
  • batmanboy11 - November 16, 2010 2:19 a.m.

I didn't have my PS2 when these came out and missed them, so I NEED to get this!
  • w40kfanatic - November 16, 2010 2:17 a.m.

Whoa, i know what im getting, these were my favorite ps2 games ever!
  • accidentprone88 - November 16, 2010 2:16 a.m.

The first two Sly Cooper games are still some of my favorite platformers ever. I've beat the first one something like ten times now. I'll have to pick this up for certain. Side note: they remade these over the Jak games because they're waaaaaaaayyyyy better. And the Ratchet games have had iterations this console generation, so they're still fresh in people's minds. They need to make sure people still remember Sly if they're making a fourth one.
  • kit07 - November 16, 2010 2:14 a.m.

i agree with the sidenot, but im also someone who didnt play any of the first three so id like to give these a try. and u can't go wrong with the price.
