The first time I played Morrowind and Oblivion I shut myself in my room for a few days... I feel that the same thing is gonna happen with Skyrim! Can't wait!!!

It's about freaking time they entered proper dragons into the mix! The mods for Morrowind and Oblivion were appreciated but they never had that extra level of spit and polish. Beyond "yay dragons", I'm really hoping Skyrim takes more from the pages of Morrowind and Shattered Isles (and even Fallout 3 & NV) than Oblvion, as after the "oh shiny" novelty of Oblivion's awesome graphics wore off, I found the game to be somewhat boring (to the point where I never actually beat it, unlike Morrowind which kept me glued throughout). Although I hope all fans of Oblivion are playing the Nehrim total conversion mod currently as it is quite spectacular. Better environments, better quests, better leveling system, better interface, etc. Bethesda had better be looking at that as where the series ultimately landed from a development standpoint as it does raise the bar above Oblivion itself. So far, no dragons though, which is why Skyrim definitely has my attention.

HOLY HELL I'M EXCITED! And it's pretty ironic that a phone call I put in to KOXM asking about the next Elder Scrolls game gets played the day before it gets announced

YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'd give that to Mass Effect 3, Portal 2, and Batman Arkham City as well but I was already expecting those. I wasn't expecting Forza 4, but I'd have to get rid of quite a few Os to show my liking for that. It's still great, but not ME/Portal/BAC/TES awesometacular.

This trailer gave me a massive boner. It's pretty much the best thing ever.

  • Spybreak8 - December 12, 2010 7:48 p.m.

Awesome, if they make enemies better so the same lvl 1 character doesn't rape me then I'll be loving this game lol. Still haven't finished the main story line in Oblivion btw.

  • Eliath - December 12, 2010 6:38 p.m.

While I will probably buy this day one, I will probably get grief for saying that trailer was rubbish.
